What is stored

Account identity is handled by Supabase Auth. dannyt.dev stores your display name, theme preference, lesson views, and lesson completions so you can resume learning.

How it is used

This information is used only to provide the account, progress, publishing, and security features described on the site. It is not sold and is not used for advertising.

Access and deletion

You can download your profile and progress from Settings. You can also delete your account after confirming your password. Deletion removes the authentication account and associated application records.

Email

Supabase Auth creates account-confirmation and password-recovery messages and sends them through Resend. These messages are used only for account security and access; no newsletter subscription is created when you register for a learning account.

Newsletter

If you separately request the newsletter, your email address, consent version and subscription timestamps are stored in Supabase. Resend sends the confirmation link. You join the newsletter only after confirming your email. These details are used for Danny’s AI notes and updates and are not sold or shared for advertising.

You can withdraw consent using the unsubscribe link in your confirmation or newsletter email. Unsubscribing stops newsletter delivery and does not delete your learning account. Deleting your learning account does not cancel a separate newsletter subscription. A minimal subscription and withdrawal record is retained to honour your preference. Contact Danny at the sender address in your newsletter email for access or deletion requests.

Essential storage

Authentication cookies and local theme preference are necessary for account and display behavior. Password login, signup, password recovery, and account deletion use Cloudflare Turnstile, as does newsletter signup. Turnstile processes technical browser and request signals to reduce automated abuse. No marketing tracker is configured in this release.
